The Senior Executive in Social Media and Communications at AirAsia Foundation is responsible for supporting the Foundation's communications and marketing activities. This role involves managing social media channels, content creation, event planning, and promoting the Foundation's programmes to enhance brand presence.
The role involves supporting the AirAsia Foundation's activities with a focus on communications and marketing. The person will report to the Manager of AirAsia Foundation and will implement marketing activities to promote the Foundation's programmes and enhance its brand presence while supporting its core social entrepreneurship work. Responsibilities include strategising and managing the Foundation’s social media channels, content creation, planning and executing internal and external events, promoting grant and project activities, engaging with social media communities, coordinating launch campaigns, monitoring social enterprise and sustainable travel news, managing internal communications within AirAsia Group, supporting the Foundation’s retail platform, and overseeing communications across various platforms to ensure consistent visibility and engagement.
A first or upper second degree from a recognized university in marketing, business/management, communications, or other relevant disciplines.
Three years of relevant work experience in social media, communications, branding, project planning or management and coordination.
Excellent command of spoken and written English.
Proficient in using Google Suite Applications and MS Office.
Personal maturity and the ability to interact with a variety of people, including at the highest level.
