Job Description
The Senior Lecturer will engage in day-to-day teaching activities, including designing and developing teaching materials, conducting classes, and assessing student performance. The position also involves active participation in research and administrative responsibilities within the university environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop teaching materials for Artificial Intelligence courses.
- Conduct classes and assess student performance effectively.
- Participate in high-quality programme and curriculum development.
- Implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
- Support postgraduate research projects and mentor students.
- Conduct research, present findings at conferences, and publish in academic journals.
- Secure research grants and achieve specific research targets.
- Attend meetings and participate in committees and professional activities.
- Establish linkages with external organizations or professional bodies.
Job Requirements
Possess a doctoral degree or equivalent in Artificial Intelligence or related fields.
Have at least two years of experience in teaching or industry.
Maintain a strong publication record with at least 5 publications in C.I. journals in the last 5 years.
Have secured research grant(s) as a Principal Investigator worth RM50,000 cumulative.
Preferably have a Scopus h-index of 5.
Possess at least 1 Intellectual Property in the form of patents, copyrights or trademarks.
