Job Description
The Senior Lecturer will undertake various teaching and related duties, including the design and preparation of teaching materials, conducting classes, and providing student consultations. The position also involves contributing to programme and curriculum development and supporting research projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop teaching materials for courses.
- Conduct classes, tutorials, and practical sessions.
- Provide student consultation and support.
- Engage in curriculum development and programme enhancement.
- Participate in research projects and secure research grants.
- Contribute to scholarly activities, including publications and conference presentations.
- Serve on departmental and faculty committees.
- Mentor and coach students and junior faculty members.
Job Requirements
Possess a PhD from a recognised university in Economics or related fields.
Have at least three years of experience in teaching or industry.
Possess a strong publication record with at least three publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last five years.
Have secured research grant(s) as a Principal Investigator worth RM30,000-RM50,000 (cumulative).
Have graduated at least one Master Degree student.
Have an H-index of minimum 3 (Scopus).
