The role involves planning and implementing teaching strategies, maintaining high standards of learning, participating in scholarly research activities, and contributing to administrative duties within the academic department.
Possess a doctoral degree or equivalent from a recognised university in Tourism/Events Management.
Candidates with a Master Degree in Tourism/Events Management must have at least 5 years working experience in the events management industry.
Preferably have a Scopus h-index of 3.
Have graduated at least 1 Master Degree student.
Have at least 3 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) within the last five years.
Have secured research grant(s) as a Principal Investigator worth at least RM20,000.
Experience in higher education environment with teaching experience and professional knowledge of curriculum development or professional experience with evidence of coaching and mentoring and high quality presentation skills.
Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials, including the effective use of IT technologies for teaching and learning facilitation.
Experience working on research projects and activities or experience in professional practice/consultancy with evidence of appropriate outputs.
