
The Senior Lecturer - Events Management and Technology is responsible for teaching and curriculum development in the field of tourism and events management. This role significantly impacts the academic growth of students and contributes to the advancement of research in the industry.
The Senior Lecturer will engage in day-to-day teaching activities, develop course materials, and support postgraduate research initiatives. The work environment is dynamic, fostering collaboration with colleagues and students while maintaining high academic standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a doctoral degree or equivalent in Tourism/Events Management.
Candidates with a Master Degree in Tourism/Events Management must have at least 5 years of working experience in the events management industry.
Preferably have a Scopus h-index of 3.
Have graduated at least 1 Master Degree student.
Have at least 3 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) within the last five years.
Have secured research grant(s) as a Principal Investigator worth at least RM20,000.
Experience in higher education with teaching and curriculum development.
