
The Senior Lecturer - Events Management is responsible for delivering high-quality education in the field of events management. This role significantly impacts student learning and contributes to the academic reputation of the institution through teaching, research, and community engagement.
The Senior Lecturer will engage in various teaching and learning activities, including designing and developing course materials, conducting classes, and supporting postgraduate research. The role also involves active participation in curriculum development and maintaining high teaching standards as per university expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a doctoral degree or equivalent in Tourism/Events Management.
Candidates with a Master's degree must have at least 2 years of experience in the events management industry.
Preferably possess a Scopus h-index of 3.
Have graduated at least 1 Master's degree student.
Have at least 2 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) within the last five years.
Have secured research grants as a Principal Investigator worth at least RM20,000.
Experience in higher education with teaching and curriculum development.
