The Senior Lecturer in Family Business is responsible for teaching, mentoring students, conducting research, and contributing to curriculum development. The role also involves administrative duties and engaging in scholarly activities while supporting external academic linkages.

The Senior Lecturer - Family Business is responsible for undertaking teaching and related duties including design, preparation, and development of teaching materials; conducting classes, tutorials, and practicals; student consultations; invigilation; marking and assessment. The role involves contributing to high-quality programme and curriculum development, implementing teaching strategies to optimize and motivate student learning, supporting postgraduate research projects, and maintaining high teaching and learning standards according to university expectations. Additionally, the role requires engaging in scholarly activities such as research, conference presentations, journal publications, and community work; supporting research grant efforts; and meeting specified research outcome targets. The position also includes administrative responsibilities such as participating in departmental meetings, committees, and working groups; engaging in continuous professional development; and assisting in establishing academic linkages with external organizations and professional bodies locally and internationally.
