
The Senior Lecturer - Interior Design is responsible for teaching and related duties in the field of interior design. This role significantly impacts the academic development of students and contributes to the overall quality of the educational program at Taylor's College.
The Senior Lecturer will engage in day-to-day teaching activities, including the design and preparation of teaching materials, conducting classes, and providing student consultations. The position also involves contributing to program and curriculum development and participating in scholarly activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a doctoral degree or equivalent in design or a related field.
Registered as an Interior Designer with the Board of Architects of Malaysia (LAM) or equivalent.
Preferably with an h-index of 3.
Experience in supervising at least one Master's degree student.
At least 3 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last five years.
Secured research grants as a Principal Investigator worth at least RM20,000.
Proven track record in higher education and curriculum development.
