Job Description
The Senior Lecturer will engage in day-to-day teaching activities, including the design and preparation of teaching materials, conducting classes, and providing student consultations. The position also involves contributing to program and curriculum development and participating in scholarly activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare teaching materials for interior design courses.
- Conduct classes and tutorials for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Provide academic consultation and support to students.
- Contribute to program and curriculum development initiatives.
- Participate in research activities and scholarly publications.
- Present research findings at conferences and seminars.
- Collaborate with external organizations to enhance educational linkages.
Job Requirements
Possess a doctoral degree or equivalent in design or a related field.
Registered as an Interior Designer with the Board of Architects of Malaysia (LAM) or equivalent.
Preferably with an h-index of 3.
Experience in supervising at least one Master's degree student.
At least 3 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last five years.
Secured research grants as a Principal Investigator worth at least RM20,000.
Proven track record in higher education and curriculum development.
