Job Description

The Senior Lecturer - Management is responsible for teaching and related duties including designing and preparing teaching materials, conducting classes, tutorials, and practicals, consulting with students, invigilation, marking, and assessment. The role involves contributing to high quality programme and curriculum development, planning teaching strategies to optimize student learning, supporting research projects and scholarship of postgraduate students, and maintaining high teaching standards aligned with the University's expectations. Additionally, the Senior Lecturer engages in scholarly research activities such as undertaking research, presenting at conferences, publishing in journals, and community work. They support efforts to secure research grants and aim to achieve specified research outcomes. Administrative responsibilities include participating in departmental meetings, committees, professional activities, and helping establish links with external organizations related to academic matters.

Job Requirements

Possess a doctoral degree in Marketing or Management, or other relevant fields from a recognized university with at least three (3) years of relevant teaching/industry experience.

Preferably with h-index 3.

Graduated at least 1 Master Degree student.

Published at least 3 papers in C.I. journal (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.

Secured research grant(s) as a Principal Investigator worth RM30,000 - RM50,000.

Experience working in higher education environment and a track record of teaching experience and professional knowledge of curriculum development or good record of professional experience with evidence of coaching and mentoring and a high quality of presentation skills.

Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials, including the effective use of IT technologies in the facilitation of teaching and learning.

Experience working on research projects and activities or experience of professional practice/consultancy work, including evidence of appropriate outputs.
