
The Senior Lecturer - Psychiatry is responsible for teaching, learning, research, and administrative duties within the university setting. This role significantly impacts the academic environment by contributing to curriculum development and engaging in scholarly activities.
The Senior Lecturer in Psychiatry will engage in day-to-day teaching, conducting lectures and tutorials, and supporting postgraduate research within a collaborative university environment. The role also involves administrative responsibilities and fostering academic linkages with external organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a Master Degree or Doctoral Degree in Psychiatry or equivalent from a reputable institution.
At least three years of relevant teaching experience.
Possess an undergraduate degree in medicine (MBBS or equivalent) with full registration from the Malaysian Medical Council.
Preferably have an h-index of 4.
Published 4 papers in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.
Experience working in higher education with a record of teaching and curriculum development.
Possess at least one Intellectual Property (IP) in the form of patents, copyrights or trademarks.
