The Senior Lecturer - Radiology is responsible for delivering teaching and learning activities, including designing teaching materials, conducting lectures, and supporting student consultation and assessment. The role also involves contributing to curriculum development, implementing teaching strategies, and supporting postgraduate research work. Additionally, the position entails engaging in research activities such as undertaking research projects, presenting at conferences, publishing in journals, securing research grants, and achieving research outcome targets appropriate to the Senior Lecturer level. The role includes administrative duties like attending departmental meetings, participating in committees, professional development, and establishing linkages with external organizations.
Possess a Master Degree in Radiology or a closely related field from a reputable institution with at least two (2) years of relevant teaching experience. PhD applicants are preferred.
The candidate must be registrable with the National Specialist Register (NSR).
Preferably with h-index 5.
Graduated at least 1 Master Degree student.
Published 5-7 papers in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.
Secured research grant(s) as a Principal Investigator worth RM50,000-RM75,000.
Possess at least 1 Intellectual Property (IP) in the form of patents, copyrights or trademarks.
Experience working in higher education environment with teaching experience and professional knowledge of curriculum development or professional experience with coaching, mentoring, and high presentation skills.
Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials, including effective use of IT technologies in teaching and learning.
Experience working on research projects and activities or professional practice/consultancy work with evidence of outputs.
