
The Senior Lecturer - Software Engineering is responsible for delivering high-quality education and fostering student learning. This role involves engaging in curriculum development, research activities, and maintaining academic standards within the university environment.
The Senior Lecturer will undertake teaching and related duties, including the design and development of teaching materials, conducting classes, and providing student consultation. The role also encompasses participation in scholarly activities and administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a doctoral degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
At least two (2) years of teaching or industry experience.
Strong publication record with a minimum of 5 publications in C.I. journals in the last 5 years.
Experience securing research grants as a Principal Investigator worth RM50,000 (cumulative).
Graduated at least 1 Master Degree (by Research) student.
Preferably with a Scopus h-index of 5.
At least 1 Intellectual Property (IP) in the form of patents, copyrights, or trademarks.
