
The Senior Lecturer - Tourism & Events is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning activities. This role significantly impacts the academic development of students and contributes to the advancement of the university's tourism and events programs.
The Senior Lecturer engages in day-to-day teaching responsibilities, including conducting classes, tutorials, and practical sessions while consulting with students. The role also involves curriculum development and maintaining high standards of teaching in line with university expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a PhD from a recognised university in Tourism, Hospitality or relevant fields.
At least two (2) years of experience in teaching, research or industry.
Strong publication record with 2-4 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.
Secured research grant(s) as a Principal Investigator worth RM20,000-RM30,000 (cumulative).
Experience in higher education with a track record of teaching and curriculum development.
