
The Senior Lecturer - Tourism is responsible for delivering high-quality education in the field of tourism. This role significantly impacts student learning and contributes to the development of academic programs and research initiatives.
The Senior Lecturer - Tourism engages in teaching and related duties, including designing and developing teaching materials, conducting classes, and assessing students. The role also involves participation in program and curriculum development, supporting postgraduate research, and maintaining high teaching standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a PhD from a recognized university in Tourism, Hospitality, or relevant fields.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in teaching, research, or industry.
Strong publication record with at least 2-4 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.
Experience securing research grants as a Principal Investigator worth RM20,000-RM30,000 (cumulative).
Proven track record in curriculum development and teaching methodologies.
