The Senior Metallurgy & Welding Engineer works as part of the Asia-Pacific Materials Integrity team in a dynamic environment, focusing on metallurgy and welding engineering. Daily tasks include collaborating with various teams to influence technical decisions and support projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering support for materials-related work in Capital Projects and Operations.
  • Contribute to technical engineering decisions impacting project outcomes.
  • Participate in reliability and maintenance programs to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support large capital and smaller regional projects with a focus on metallurgy and welding.
  • Conduct technical surveillance and provide guidance on materials selection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment.

Job Requirements

Have at least 10 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas industry.

Demonstrate work experience and knowledge in metallurgy, welding/fabrication, and materials selection.
