In this role, the Senior Supervisor will manage day-to-day banquet operations, ensuring that all event requirements are met while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and staff professionalism. The work environment is dynamic, requiring effective communication and coordination with various teams to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee banquet operations to ensure smooth execution of events.
- Set up banquet areas according to event specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet facilities.
- Assist in hiring and training new staff members.
- Ensure staff grooming standards are upheld.
- Foster positive relationships within the team to achieve common goals.
- Perform administrative tasks related to banquet operations.
Job Requirements
Diploma in Hotel Catering / Hotel Services / Banquet or Hospitality Management
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in hotels, convention centres, or the hospitality industry
Proficient in oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage
Highly customer service-oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of clients
Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
