Role Summary
This role is for a Senior Technician responsible for maintaining and supporting control systems in a plant environment. The position involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while supporting junior technicians.
Job Description
The role supports Control and Instrumentation (C&I) operations by ensuring reliable system performance through troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement of plant control systems such as GSR, ASM, CDS, APM, PLCs, and sensors. It includes executing preventive and corrective maintenance, performing inspections, responding to equipment breakdowns, and assisting with system installations. The role also involves troubleshooting faults in instrumentation systems, maintaining documentation, supporting technical knowledge transfer to junior technicians, and ensuring compliance with ISO9001/GMP, safety, and SOP standards.
Job Requirements
Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Control Instrumentation, Mechatronic Engineering or Equivalent.
Minimum 2 years experience in C&I field.
Skilled in PLC (Siemens or Fatek), basic wiring, loop drawings, sensor and mechanical installation.
Strong troubleshooting skills and technical accuracy.
Able to work under pressure, follow company rules, and complete assigned tasks.
High cooperation, responsible, with a positive attitude.
Experience in production line maintenance, 5S, and workplace safety.
