The Assistant Manager in Shipping role involves overseeing import and export operations and documentation to achieve organizational objectives. The position requires coordination with various departments to ensure timely and compliant shipments and leading the shipping team to deliver effective customer service.
The role is responsible for overseeing import and export operational control and documentation to meet organizational goals. The individual coordinates with relevant departments to ensure timely shipment of customer sales orders with accurate and compliant documentation and leads the shipping team to provide efficient internal and external customer service.
Bachelor Degree in SCM Logistics Management, Business, Operation Management, or any equivalent.
Minimum 6 years management experience in warehouse.
Knowledge of customer service management.
Ability to perform data and cost analysis to facilitate budget forecasting such as haulage charges and forwarding agent fees.
Experience in shipping and transportation operations and management.
Experience in warehouse operations and management.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
