STATE REGISTERED NURSE, SPECIAL DIAGNOSTIC – KPJ Healthcare

The State Registered Nurse, Special Diagnostic is responsible for providing essential patient care within the Cardiac-Vascular Theatre team. This role involves assessing patient conditions and ensuring the operational readiness of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, contributing significantly to patient outcomes and safety.

As a State Registered Nurse in the Special Diagnostic unit, you will engage in daily patient care activities, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Your role will be pivotal in supporting patients through various cardiac procedures and ensuring a high standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and report findings to the medical team.
• Prepare patients for procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the laboratory environment.
• Assist in invasive procedures under the supervision of medical staff.
• Participate in health education initiatives for patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment and supplies used.
