Job Description

The Stewarding Supervisor at Sheraton Johor Bahru oversees daily operations related to cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and banquet areas. This position involves working closely with a team to maintain high standards of hygiene and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and assist Stewards to improve clean-up efficiency.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment effectively.
  • Ensure proper water temperature and chemical levels are maintained.
  • Manage inventory for banquets and buffets.
  • Support management in hiring and training new employees.
  • Schedule and evaluate staff performance regularly.
  • Motivate team members to achieve departmental goals.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.

At least 2 years of related work experience is required.

At least 1 year of supervisory experience is required.

Strong communication skills to interact professionally with others.

Ability to follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
