Job Description
The role involves assisting the Store Inspector in ensuring the effective implementation of systems for receiving, storage, and distribution within the material store's daily operations. The position requires maintaining the material store to comply with authority requirements and managing various functions such as recording transaction details, monitoring material movement, coordinating material requisitions, and updating inventory data.
Job Requirements
Passed SPM with minimum one year working experience as a store keeper or fresh Diploma in any discipline from a recognized institution.
Assist Store Inspector to operate an effective stores system for materials management with all transaction details recorded including Receiving, Issuance, Storage, Stock taking, and Inventory data.
Assist Store Inspector in ensuring storage facilities, environment, and arrangements are properly set up and the preservation of parts, handling, fast and accurate retrieving of spares in a secure and safe environment.
Physical controlling and monitoring the movement of materials during issuance, receiving, and dispatch from stores.
Co-ordinate and process materials requisition including AOG requests and preloads.
Assist Store Inspector in maintaining, reviewing, updating, and monitoring expiry date listings for items with shelf expiry dates, update transactions for materials, and ensure stock level is sufficient to support operations.
Adhere to all rules, regulations, and procedures regarding safety, housekeeping and security.
Perform any other tasks as assigned by the immediate superior.
