The engineer must be competent in designing reinforced concrete and steel structures according to BS or Euro Code standards, preparing structural design reports and construction drawings. The position requires liaising with clients, contractors, sub-contractors, and government authorities, and may involve site visits to address design-related issues, conduct inspections, and monitor quality control to ensure compliance with approved construction drawings.
