The role involves preparing accounts and providing administrative support while managing day-to-day office operations. Responsibilities include reconciling bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers, managing income and expenditure accounts, preparing financial reports, filing and remitting taxes, and managing financial and accounting software. The position also supports audits by working closely with auditors to provide necessary documentation and resolve queries.
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in finance, accounting or any other related field.
Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
Advanced knowledge and experience with spreadsheets.
Ability to work independently.
Minimum two to five years experience are required.
Knowledge in SQL Accounting software is an added advantage.
