The Systems Operator at STRATEQ GROUP engages in daily monitoring and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of the IT infrastructure. The role requires vigilance in overseeing data center operations and adherence to security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor data center health through various systems.
- Perform environment and floor checks regularly.
- Support customer operations effectively.
- Manage access and equipment movement within the facility.
- Maintain security and procedural compliance at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve operational issues.
- Document incidents and operational activities accurately.
Job Requirements
Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
Willingness to work morning and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Computer literacy.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Positive attitude.
Experience in IT shift operations.
