The Technician is responsible for addressing guest repair requests and maintaining equipment to ensure smooth operations. The role includes performing preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and upkeep tasks while adhering to safety standards and company policies. Effective communication with guests and team members is also required.
The Technician responds and attends to guest repair requests and communicates with guests to resolve maintenance issues. The role involves performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, inspecting and troubleshooting various systems and components, and maintaining inventory and safety standards. The Technician also performs basic repairs, cleaning, and upkeep tasks, follows company policies and safety procedures, and supports team goals while ensuring a professional appearance and courteous guest interactions.
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting is preferred.
Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus.
Must possess a valid Driver's License.
Basic computer skills are required.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Ability to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and ladders.
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Ability to follow safety and security policies and procedures.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and coworkers.
