The Tool & Die Maker is responsible for creating and maintaining precision tools and dies used in manufacturing processes. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality production and fostering a culture of innovation within the team.
Job Description
In this position, you will work the 1st shift from 7am to 3pm, Monday through Friday, in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with a team dedicated to quality craftsmanship and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble precision tools and dies.
- Inspect and test tools to ensure they meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing tools and dies.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with engineers to design new tools and improve existing ones.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Relevant technical certification in tool and die making.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
