The Trainer and Web Content Editor is responsible for ensuring all digital content is engaging, accurate, and optimized for search engines and user experience. This role also involves providing scheduled or ad-hoc training sessions on institutional application usage to internal users.
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Computer Science / Information Technology, Communication, English, or equivalent qualification in a related field.
Certification in Training & Development is a plus.
3+ years of experience in a role combining training/facilitation and professional content editing/management.
Proficiency in a Content Management System (CMS) like WordPress or Drupal.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS and basic web design principles.
Basic technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 products such as Microsoft Teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication, editing, and proofreading skills.
Knowledge in video editing software.
Proven ability to develop and deliver effective training, adapting to different learning styles.
Basic knowledge of information systems concepts and terminology.
Ability to communicate with a wide variety of people verbally and in writing.
Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and project management skills.
Maintains an excellent attendance record and is dependable.
Strives to continually build knowledge and skills (professional and technology related).
Responds promptly to user needs and solicits feedback to improve service; meets commitments.
Forward thinking in the potential use of future technology.
