1) There is a HRBP assigned for AIA WELLNESS from AIA Thailand, but receives no attention from them. A lack of dedicated HR / People Team sitting within AIA WELLNESS means staff have no one to go to for unbiased support, to build company culture and establish values. 3) Have to get in line to use female bathrooms on in office work days as only 2 stalls per floor. Only experienced this at concerts. 4) Not many food choices around the work location. 5) Old office building. 6) Limited career advancement 7) boss tries hard to be a cool place to work when there is no HR team.

- management all talk, no real changes to improve. - reactive workplace instead of solving root causes of processes.

Poor leadership and direction, and poor governance and accountability makes for a ambiguous environment to work in

poor pay and poor bonus. Not worth working here if its low rank post

Slow salary growth if you are young and wanr to stay longer. But this place might be the right choice if you are mature and looking for the place to settle

Not enough exam supports i.e. exam days off.

Slow in response to market changes.

Racial discrimination. There is the Chinese manager who support Chinese only. Chinese speak Chinese in meetings. Majority of HR is also Chinese and they are all on Chinese side. HR even says that staff can speak Chinese in meetings. Hello, non-Chinese is unable to understand Chinese in meetings. Here is Singapore.

Management does not care to reply you during onboarding process. now i have to wait 2 months for late salary due to their backend issue.

The cons is definitely the workload. And that they’re making us increase our responsibilities without adding additional pay. It’s great to learn new things, but not at the expense where a work-life balance can’t be provided. They even mentioned to us that they’re trying to aim for maximum output with the lowest possible budget. Honestly, I could handle the no life part in work life balance, but there is a fine line of self-perseverance and capability. When the pay is not equivalent to the responsibility, all hell will break loose in the long run.

Super fast paced and di organized

1.Last place to be if anyone wants to make any change. 2.Most line managers were incredibly incompetent and unable to LEAD, they understood very little of the business of their line. They held their positions because the seniority in the company, not for actual work capability. Senior Management was particularly worse, preferred to use their own "kin". 3.Favouritism and toxic are AIA's micro-culture. Butt-kissers climbed higher than hard working employees. Senior managers had a preconceived opinions on certain business lines/employees due to past encounter. 4.Equity workplace is laughable. Helped a client's fresh graduate son secured an internal Ops job. While letting go one of the most experienced employees because her opinions didn't align with the line manager. 5.Low turnover rate is a scam. Because the company couldn't afford to let go so-called senior employees due to the amount of compensation fee. Those employees lack creativity, originality, deny whole-heartedly for any change or innovations. They just want to quietly retire.
