I found the department I was working in had a very positive environment and placed an emphasis on team bonding. That was my experience for the 5 years I worked at AIA, I really found that positive. That was just my department, I can't speak for any other part of the company. My managers also tended to be positive and supportive.
There was not much opportunity or career progression in my department. Lots of people would advance to a team leader position but there was not much opportunity to go above that,
