Can be quiet stressful with inbound calls

Long Working Hour, OT must be needed

Have to work very long hours.

Company located far from train station

Low sal outside of SLT/ELT. bonus less and less every year.

Flat structure (my team), not much upside

During peak times, like employee onboarding or benefits renewal periods, extra hours may be required to meet deadlines.

Quite stressful, sometimes lack of support, one person is managing many tasks but with tight timeline.

Need for more innovative projects

There are times when we’re expected to handle urgent claims outside of normal working hours, which can sometimes blur the lines between work and personal time, making it harder to fully disconnect.

Crazy learning curve, have to self manage

Manager micromanaged, manager choose specific person to get promoted, manager in IT but zero knowledge on IT stuff or coding

Sometimes, things can get overwhelming during peak seasons, such as sudden tasks coming in rapidly. This makes it harder to maintain a steady balance between work and personal life.

The team is friendly, but communication can sometimes be too casual, which may lead to misunderstandings or delays in getting things done.

Slow growth, very less hike compared to other insurers

Micromanagement and no recognition for your hard work.

Repetitive tasks like scheduling interviews or chasing feedback can feel draining if not well-supported.

Bad culture, extremely cliqueish, but maybe it is just the department I am in (Finance). Would not recommend unless you already know someone on the inside

It can get very intense during year-end/quarter-end periods but relatively low bonus compared to other firms

1. In technology shared service, senior managers or head are alway try to PUA employees 2. The culture of personal worship is severe. 3. Unit head interferes with employees' private time 4. There is a lot of overtime work, and the management uses various rhetoric to find reasons not to provide overtime pay.

Increment is not fantastic, career promotion pathway has to be improved. Wearing multiple hats despite a fixed job scope.
