There seems to be a shortage of man-power in certain areas. I would like to see a training program where new employees are fully trained before being placed in the work environment, versus on the job training.

Strictly following procedure within our division

Nothing as such all good

Sometimes there are long and complex decision paths. Air Liquide has a very conservative way of thinking, decisions aren't made fast enough and or are revoked completely. The business is shareholder driven, you have a lot of cost-cutting-programs and the upper management in some countries lose the focus on talent management and sustainable development.

Poorly compensated and toxic culture

Too many new initiatives from management without allocating adequate resources.

It should be user friendly for all

Terrible work environment, no communication and colaboration.

Frequent promises and no action or follow through. Poor decisions by upper management and some make you scratch your head an say "what were they thinking?"

Pay could be better and there are few opportunities to advance.It is a small subsidiary that does not do the products that make the most of the money for the parent company, so there is not a lot of support from corporate.
