Personal banker
Management support is good. Help juniors like us to kick start their career in banking.
high level stress, multitasking, figures.

Great culture. High learning curve.
Overworked. Very high pressure & stress.
Vice president
Small sized bank & lean team - allows you more opportunities to learn and do more things, and don't feel too far removed from top management (whom you'd wanna learn and get quicker direction from). Approvals and decisions tend to be quicker in a smaller bank compared to larger bank (except when the approver goes on leave). Constantly trying to punch above our weight to stand out from the blue, red and yellow banks out there. As a result, we do a lot despite having a small team. Suitable trainings are provided. Boss doesn't micromanage, trusts the team to get things done. Generally most people are nice. There are 1-2 bad apples, but that's also the case in every other company.
Unfortunately my team's assigned HRBP is not very effective (takes weeks to revert to simple questions and revert with less than satisfactory answers). Backward and poor infrastructure (poor WiFi, no chat/ productivity/ cloud tools, only can use Zoom for calls, rest of the time have to use own personal WhatsApp to contact/chat with people). Cloud security concerns are unfounded considering it's more unsafe to channel work discussions via personal phone/WhatsApp. The flip side of having a small team is that the workload can get too much sometimes (e.g. when someone resigns, or when someone goes on leave, or when multiple things run in parallel).
