I have been for ALD for almost 3 years and it really is the best place I have ever worked. The team I am in genuinely want to do a good job and we all work together well. Management of all levels care and I think that is really apparent from Directors to Team Leaders. - Great workforce who go out of their way to help each other and customers (the people really make it the great place it is) - Lots of change happening so it's an exciting place to work - Really good projects to get involved in - Employees are genuinely valued and listened to. What they say matters and HR and Management really do care - There is training widely available to all staff
- Some employees get bogged down in things specific to them and don't look at the bigger picture
Customer service representative (csr)
Good hours and days off
Alot of aged work to do
Data engineer
Okay tech stacks, open for new stuff
Not good pay, no culture, bad leadership
Dealer service representative
Some friendly staff lovely on site cafe
Worked here for a few months and I cannot stress how un impressed I was. Affected my health it was that bad. - Snake like members of staff - un professional management ( almost text book pull someone to a meeting room / tell them off job done type attitude, ) - parking not sufficient leaves staff annoying local residents by parking in the estate - highly negative atmosphere to sum up its a call centre with some awful characters.
Central location. Free parking in company garage. Cheap charging for electric cars.
Group of directors are almost the same as 40 years ago. Small chances of advancement unless you are into golf.
Software developer
The dev team is full of nice people in a good environment
In the wider business it's slow movement, silos and layers. Biz strategy is "old skool".
Customer service
- Nice office - Free parking - Friendly atmosphere - Generous pension - Lots of progression opportunities - Lots of training investment - Great location as you don't need to drive through the city centre
-Sometimes struggle to keep up with demand
Relaxed working environment with good benefits and lots of opportunity for progression/learning
Slightly underpaid vs rival companies in the sector
Credit analyst
Friendly manager – Creates a positive and supportive work environment. Flexible hours – Allows for better work-life balance and adaptability. Easy access to the building – Convenient location and hassle-free entry
Salary not competitive – Especially challenging given the high cost of living in Dublin. Limited career development opportunities – Hard to progress or grow professionally. No benefits – Lacks additional perks that support employees. No health insurance – Missing an essential component of employee well-being.
Director of hrd
Great people and good culture
Change fatigue can lead to burnout
