Some nice people around Nothing else Salary slightly better than big 4 (doesn't mean much)
Horrible leadership Horrendous selection of projects Lies throughout recruitment process Consulting is just a buzzword now apparently Bullying from clients and seniors
Flat structure and opportunity to get involved in community work.
Cliques for best opportunities and opaque review process.
One of the best consulting service providers
At times it becomes difficult to go to office after getting use to WFH
Good flexibility from HR with regards to remote working
Career progression can be challenging if unlucky with type of client or project wherein opportunity is limited to have big impact
Although it's been a while, when I joined I was new to consulting and financial services. I was able to grow from an entry level consultant into a PC via the projects, opportunities and challenges I had at Capco. The financial services focus generally exposes you to top tier banking, wealth, insurance and financial technology clients. At the time, management was fantastic, and I made some extremely good connections via the talented colleagues I worked with. Clients were generally great to work for, and in many cases, felt like we worked alongside them.
Like any consulting role, your current project and role can dictate your experience. Some are better or worse for you and your growth. When I left, Capco was taking on more staff aug projects which can be challenging, versus team based strategy and delivery work.

- Great training - Supportive seniors
- Not the most exciting roles - A bit of favouritism happening amongst seniors when it comes to job allocation
Flexibility, no micromanagement and lean structure
Lack of coaching, and cohesion
great culture and great community, amazing and talented colleagues, many exciting challenges and opportunities
hussle culture is appreciated you wont get a promotion if you arent known
