Their main protein headquarters is in Wichita Kansas where young people are not as likely to want to live there.

Underpaid for amount of knowledge required and work schedule, they take away most of the extra benefits such as team and company outings after covid. They make sure their stance on political events is known and its not neutral. The shift work makes it hard to have a life outside of work.

Privately held humongous 140 Billion company hence exposure per role is limited compared to small or publicly listed companies. However as I am still to complete 1 year , my comments could be premature because of my limited exposure within this limited time.

Not too much support on overseas learning. Many passive / comfortable staff. Very political.

Implementation of latest tech to improve work efficiency takes time due to global scale of implementation. Some systems require a good upgrade. It can be overwhelming sometimes since you may find too many things on your platter to do at the same time. One has to work smartly to manage his or her time

Again, If you are white and or from the Midwest, then this is the company for you. Else, go somewhere else

Hanging turkeys on cones sounds easy. They can weigh as much as 80lbs. Wouldnt be so bad if they didn't have us hanging 26 birds per minute. Wouldnt hurt anyones.profit if you slowed it down. It would cut down on injuries and employee turn over rate.

Do not listen to their experienced employees, its a double standard company

I work at remote area, cargill provides us vehicle per unit for each person but is so far from the city

Org structure and growth is minimal

While the company is in business to make money, which is completely respectable and indeed totally justified, the current trend of just focusing on the money, not anymore on the well being of their performers and contributors, getting rid of their most experienced people to get "new blood", and reducing costs. There is no respect anymore for the people who helped the company to reach to where it is right this moment. HR and senior management is going for the "cheap" and forgetting about quality. Too bad people remaining still have the fear of losing their job every single day, not being thought of like they are people, but just a number. I guess they can be proud of making a lot of money by trumping over their employees and showing zero respect.

Cliques, little to no work life balance, stagnant wages, high stress, little to no opportunities to get professional licenses or certification

No consideration for your personal life. It's difficult to use earned vacation time. Bereavement and sick days are frowned upon even though they are available.
