Good Pay + benefits and overall good learning for associates as Chubb is evolving in Tech + In house tech for own products offering Supportive teams and diverse culture
I don't see any cons as for associate programs
Underwriter
Good salary and good environment
Remote erea somehow but not bad
Visionary
the people and culture from 'old' Chubb. not much else. better places to work on a career.
it is Chubb in name only. Ace bought 'old' Chubb and kept the name hoping to cash in on the old Chubb prestige. People are now overworked and senior management only interested in cashing in. underpay compared to comparable sized companies. key mantra is 'management does not care what employees have to say'. Example: 'new' Chubb had a survey and never shared the results or acted on any things that people complained about.
Senior data scientist
Fair pay. Pretty good work life balance. Flexible work assignments.
Laid back. Legacy system pain of migration
Senior vice president operations
Benefits and stock awards. Base Comp was fair but bonuses seldom mirrored performance.
Ops/IT is like working in the Trump administration.... constant change of roles, responsibilities, reporting lines and bullying tactics from leadership. Not a pleasant place to feel appreciated, be prepared to be denigrated and not valued. The entire environment had become one of no collaboration and just back stabbing.
Anonymous employee
Great underwriting team with strong management
Limited ability to move through the ranks and very political
benfits people really hard to succeed
too much work daily and a lot of blame passing
Flexible hours and efficient HR
Not really flexible culture and low bonus
Software engineer
Good work life balance if you are happy with underpaying
not much growth and learning opportunity
