Senior underwriter
Strong culture geared towards underwriting
IT and systems are dated, and Operations Teams are not helpful
Underwriting assistant
Provides a concise training plan to advance and great at communication direct reporting manager.
None I have encountered thus far.
Associate equipment breakdown risk engineer
Good work life balance. They invest a lot in you as an associate/trainee in the Risk Engineering program.
As a Risk Engineer it's hard to connect well with people in the office since you're in the field a lot and working from home a lot.
Anonymous employee
good people and benefits. They actually cared about their employees.
Laid off during the merge/purge. Extremely difficult to find another job at my age.
Good people. Learn a lot.
Overworked and underpaid. Old out of date systems.
Senior property specialist
Great teammates that try to help one another.
Toxic work environment and everyone is leaving. HR is well aware of the issues but nothing is being done. Used to be a great company before Ace acquired it. Many insureds are leaving for better carriers keen on customer service
good to change your career
work overtime every day until 10pm
Operations manager
Negotiated strongly at interview for high salary but this is not a typical outcome for most. Good 401k match offered
High workload, gossipy culture. Expect to have 15+ direct reports with very manual tracking of PTOs and timecards. Number of rush requests is unsustainable and management is not receptive to adding to staff. Hyper-focus on morale and culture which is misplaced because the words don’t translate into meaningful action of hiring more team members to relieve stress.
Software engineer
good office atmosphere in chubb
its good for all mindsets
Great culture, great company and room for advancement.
There are no cons here.
