Flex options available for schedule SOMETIMES but mostly they don’t have anywhere to make up the hours so it’s false advertising The training timeframe was just enough for me to learn the job to be able to perform well and I’ve never failed a quality check and I’ve even had the opportunity to share with others some best practices, etc., known as mentoring Benefits are available but not amazing over the top prices for coverage 401k is 4% and match is vested at 1 year Remote (hybrid they call it) full time
30 minute lunch on a 10 hour shift They don’t pay for system log out and proper pc required shut down at end of shift… only 15 minutes paid at beginning to “log in” yet I have to boot up 25 minutes early minimum due to SEVERE latency and load up issues with their cloud desktop. I’m unpaid for that but anytime I do 15 minutes, I get docked for time off the phones. ANYTHING- customer upset, equipment fails or systems don’t allow you to take calls, customer calls back in, if you aren’t using certain words (scripting) or if you have some long calls, YOU WILL HEAR ABOUT IT OR SEE YOUR “SCORECARD” in the low end of the barrel of the stack ranked system they use. They use competition to keep employees in check by posting individual metrics and performance within team chats throughout the day as well as sending emails ranking you amongst your own teammates NO, and I mean NO UPLIFTING INSPIRATION from my manager to her own team…. She basically never even talks the team as a whole.. only during team meetings and it’s NEVER round table, only her taking at the team You are literally just a number. It’s very easy to see that the manager does not care about anything that has to do with you as a person and if there’s anything going on with you, forget even letting them know they’ll just tell you to call HR, not that I’ve had any issues, but I’ve seen it countless times I’ve noticed a trend that if an employee is not meeting one of the metrics; they be punished it a multitude of ways, including getting WFH approval temporarily or permanently removed and sent to work on site where there is… no one working. Or they are PIP’d Metrics are weighted on off the wall grades like Sentimental reaction and scripts using specific words and it’s all AI graded, at this point anything that comes from the manager is going to also be AI written They’re using the worst technology and I can’t believe that they don’t have developers that have engineered something that runs quicker and more efficiently and you can tell that the card members hate the fact that they are a card member of Citi and they hate the IVR so you get a lot of charged up card members calling in just ready to blow the building up because they’re so upset already because of such a shotty automated system My main thing is my manager- she is HORRIBLE. Brick wall, no emotions doesn’t even seem like she advocates or enjoys her job at all, in fact I think she hates it. She has a really weird personality and attitude for a people manager and I absolutely loved my job and had amazing outlook on it until I joined her team. She also seems just like very boring in general and never hypes the team up.
Excellent place to work for mid to senior-level engineers.
Won’t recommend for fresh graduates.
