It's still a place to work
Dell has done an about-face on its commitment to quality of life and company culture. The most well known is how they've gone about undoing their work from home policy. The massive biannual layoffs don't help. Leadership keeps us that AI isn't going to replace us, even though they are trying to make that happen. They keep making it harder to do our job, and more unpleasant to be a customer.

Great work life balance. Good work environment. People do not micromanage you. They give liberty to do more at work with your understanding and experience. Loved working with my team.
Little difficult to climb up after a senior level post. But that also depends on individual’s capability
The people are the pros. You get to work with some incredible individuals who make the job tolerable.
comp structure is all over the place. Pay gets lowered as your progress.
