Not Ideal For: - Individuals who prefer non-target roles or dislike high call volumes. - Those seeking full autonomy from day one. High Pressure and Sales Targets - Monthly and quarterly KPIs can be intense, especially during end-of-quarter push. External Cross-Team Coordination Challenges - Coordination with external teams (technical, field sales, pricing, operations) may cause delays or customer friction. Commission Structure Complexity - commission structure can be confusing or subject to frequent changes. - Hitting target doesn’t always mean max payout due to complex compensation formulas. Career Advancement May Be Competitive - While opportunities exist, promotion can be slow or highly competitive, especially in saturated regions like APAC.

Working inside the world's greatest hardware company can conflict with the services sales motion.

Company lost focus and is constantly changing motives/direction, constant layoffs make job security questionable, return to office mandate completely contradicts Dell's previous stance on hybrid work, sales teams now have metrics that pull focus from selling.

Return to Office is troublesome.

There's been a significant decrease in R&D spend the past several years so it's difficulty selling as the technology has been lagging. There's constant re-orgs, once sometimes twice a year. One of my co-works is on his 10th manager in 8 years and this is more common than not. There's constant layoffs, most of the people I know feel like they're on 6 months contracts. It's still run like a PC/mfg company and until the old guard, like the COO, are gone it's tough to see the culture changing.

What you did for us yesterday is no longer a path to tomorrow. Dell was a great company to work for thier brilliant business leadership. Dell had a culture that was very progressive when it came to diversity, best place I have ever worked when it came to WLB, remote work was lauded and perfected here, and Dell really showed they cared when it came to the welfare of its employees and their families, this was always a high priority and they showed it time and again. Dell was very aware of their impact globally and the environment and was a dedicated caretaker to our planet and they were a valued member of the communities / countries where they operated with a foundation build on being a true meritocracy where leaders backed up what they preached.

Lots of restructuring & change occurring

Career progress is not much fast.
