Soc engineer
1. Office is pretty new 2. Friendly colleagues
1. Low pay 2. OT often 3. High workload 4. Bad management 5. Not much career progression
Cyber security consultant
Its just a normal work place
Priority for promotion goes to senior roles, junior roles don't think about getting promoted.
Associate engineer
Good opportunity to learn on the job about many different things Good platform for self-directed learning
Most senior people inside don't know what they are doing or what needs to be done Lack of guidance and asking people beneath them to find out things themselves All of it done with subpar pay
Detection engineer
People are good and not toxic. Willing to teach when ask something involving their tools used and their SOP operation.
The SOC and HQ are in different location. Far to go to any celebration when being held at HQ and the food in the SOC pantry is not stocked as much as before.
Software engineer
Good working environment, culture and colleagues.
Young company with lack of strong business direction and lack of cohesion between the respective business domains.
Security engineer
Good compensation, good working culture, good manager and management, training provided
Hard to be promoted due to limitation on headcounts.
Sales operations
Nice office, leave perks is good
Crazy people at the top
place where a lot opportunity and exposure, especially in SI.
paced was too fast and will get overwhelm, and depend on individual capabilities to adopt.
Soc analyst
lots of spare time. easy entry for fresh grad. very secure rice bowl as management doesn't monitor employee at all no kpi
high turnover rate. no team building effort. all departments constantly under staffed
Engineer
Only pros is got to work with some skilled individuals and learned how to handle challenging environments
environment was highly toxic, with micromanagement and a culture of mistrust. Office politics played a big role, some colleagues appeared friendly but acted otherwise when opportunities came up. Growth was slow, and recognition was often tied to favoritism rather than merit. Feedback wasn’t welcomed, and speaking up could backfire. Not a place I’d recommend for long-term career development.
