Process Management Sudden change in attendance process

- office space - transportation - air conditioning - human resources speed of selection - laboratory tools supplier aprover

Could have provided additional employee benefits

no con for now until they use for night shift management is little good night shift is complete no changes until you left company

Management involvement with employee could be much more improved

Really none. The work is great, the pair is fair, career growth path has well defined processes.

A lot of "old timers" who grow or maintain status based upon relationships and politics, not necessary reflected on the work they do or don't do Company is afraid to take major risks Large degree of silos Lack of direction from department leadership Very short on strategic vision

The salary is low and they refuse to raise it

No down side in the company

Communication is not one of the strong suits and team work is absolutely misunderstood. Unfortunately being a contract manufacturer you have to look for cost reductions and compete for the last penny on the table. It's like being at the mercy of the OEM's.

Shift timing is very typical

we are unable to get in to a single process flow. Eg : planning. We cannot do the entire work in planning the production loading.

- The salary increases are for the people that is friend of someone of the top of the organization. - It is difficult to get that your boss can promote you. - Sometime the plant managers are people that is very protected and they can do whathever they want. - The values and the reality are not the same.

1. Pay hike is less

1-Damn need of young blood in top management in India. 2- All the leaders are political to the core. It's very hard to sustain such environment. 3- Job saturation with in 2 years in any role 4- No proper work allocation and track of amount of work that any resource does. 5- HR as usual is business driven. 7-No job security - you can be thrown out of job overnight. 8- less growth opportunities 9- promotions and big hikes are mostly falling in kitty of long tenured employees & for managerial grades 10- leads are egoistic and it's difficult to get your suggestion implemented. 11- Few leaders are biased to core. Though they won't express but their activities reveal the same. 12- Think surveys are taken for name sake, can't see any actions on it.

More than five superiors to answer to, not unlike Office Space

I would say there is one con that is the salary

Less Chances of getting Promoted and less increment..

Work life balance is not on par with other companies

Low salary, need more brake time.

Red tape. Each site has its own way of doing things. No one is an expert on anything.

Last minute changes when management decides to work weekend. This site does not promote from within. All movement tends to be lateral. Bonuses that use to be a selling point for the lower pay are not on par. It's manufacturing and they work production hard.

salary compensation is rather on the low side as compared to average datas available on market. benefits varies slightly across different Flextronics sites in same countries.

I you are looking to be promoted and or expecting raises Flextronics is not a place to work, there performance plans and evaluation are very difficult to be promoted in raises are very had to come by.

No developmental growth even though thats what they use to promote the positions. Lack of communication from top to bottom even though grievances are shared from bottom to top they say they listen but they don't. Even with customers there is lack of communication so when they re given wrong info from the corporate store they end up at the DSC screaming demanding something that we don't even have.

Limited growth opportunity within the company

Large EMS companies treat employees as dispensable and like a factory worker (Layoff is way of life within the walls of this company). Not a place for development engineer. No innovation, management is interested in arbirtrage of component buying to shore up 3% profit with huge revenue but slim Gross Margin when compared to Google, CISCO.
