The working environment here is free, lot's of great/super person around. It's great for the fresh guy to quickly learn from here.
Sometimes the promotion is subject to the current salary not the capability which is frustrated.
Anonymous employee
I loved the working environment at Flex. The community was encouraging and supportive, especially towards women. It's a great place to be to advance your career within the project management area; in general there are loads of opportunities at Flex, since they handle schematics and test models from some of the biggest tech giants, as well as various other really cool startup tech companies.
The biggest drawback to me was that there wasn't really a research and development department in the US that I was aware of, in spite of the fact that it is a contract manufacturing company. The closest thing was probably Multek, or interconnect technology center, which was pretty small in comparison to how large of a corporation Flex is. There is an R&D facility located in Taiwan. Another thing that I had to consider was that Flex's corporate finance follows more of the manufacturing model. So, the pay scale is affected accordingly for its employees. (min costs for production with max output)
-Minimal supervision -Compensation & benefits OK
-Minimal supervision -Minimal feedback -Minimal collaboration -Low profit margin industry
There are quite a few fantastic, very bright people within the organization and some of the greatest friendships that I have ever had were formed there.
Overall the organization does not care for the people that work there. In most cases it is due to the demands of the Client, but most people are treated as robots and expected to sacrifice everything, every day or otherwise be branded as a worthless laggard. At every level of management there are people who, in a healthier work environment, would probably be spectacular but due to the amount of stress and the extreme expectations are failing miserably. Meeting the status quo is expected and moving beyond it is not encouraged. Mediocrity is the best that most can hope for and most employees are more than dissatisfied with the organization as a whole. The pay stays at about 5-10% lower than anywhere else doing the same job, the communication is horrible at all levels, employees are verbally, mentally, and emotionally abused by the Client (and sometimes internally), and as an organization meeting even the most unreasonable expectations from the Client is almost mandatory.

Territory manager
Used to be able to get promoted quickly with hard work Front line associates are great Great pay for entry level
The worse managers in the world Lots of managers sleeping with associates Horrible pay for managers No one has any backbone Managers can not be trusted
Multicultural environment, very fast paced, quick decision making, ease of reaching to top mgmt, friendly atmosphere
Compensation can be benchmarked to market as losing talent very easily, some key posts filled by inept people
Senior analyst procurement
Good work environment around the company
Work culture is something to be look after . If you are in night shift things will be more worse. No shift change will be attended until you get married or get severely ill. Zero work life balance.
Good comapny Work environment is good. Good for girls as they get appreciation very often.
Low Pay.... Only good for Girls..
