Senior project manager
1. Seamless onboarding 2. GCC of Haleon is here to stay for long term. Expect to develop in multiple folds for next few years 3. Values of the Haleon inspires commitment and new perspective to the company 4. Hybrid work model and flexibility
1. Org structure is a bit spread at the moment that needs streamlining. 2. GSK Legacy still has a strong foothold in ways of working.
Commercial graduate program
Great employee benefits and competitive pay
Slightly too hierarchical office culture
Marketing
Great brands that help people with their health > work feels purposeful Hybrid work and free parking Great team and culture
Honestly nothing to write about that's a real con worth sharing :-) Maybe the location being Paramatta but that's mainly because it's not close to my home - it's very handy for many and has good transport links!
Territory manager
Great NPD, huge portfolio - science based claims,
Management of field sales was somewhat wayward and disconnected from real picture. Big variance in quality of management nationally. slow moving
Service operations manager
Good place to work, medical compensation, office facilities are good.
Not much, growth to higher position will be slow
Flexible work practices and 5 days additional paid leave a year Fantastic brands Great people and culture
Systems and processes can be challenging to work with
Senior director it
Little to note here at presebt.
Toxic Culture, Arrogant Leadership. Dishonesty and lack of emotional intelligence.
Intern
Very nice colleagues and atmosphere
Constantly under cost pressure which affects the work environment.
Net revenue manager
Flexible/ hybrid working culture, good work life balance, nice people
Career progression is slow especially for experienced individuals; over time roles have been gradually downgraded; graduates often take priority over experienced employees
Senior manager
Good food in the cafeteria, talent with good pedigree, office location, competetive salary, most employee benefits above par
The first thing that hit me was that one had to constantly struggle for a work desk, meeting rooms everyday. Some meetings had to be done in the cafeteria which was highly unproductive. A lot of the office space has been wasted in non-ergonomic seating and desks. The office also felt overcrowded. So much for being effective at work. Second, there was too much of activity, for the sake of it, in all departments without real outcomes. Every month, a visit from the regional/global/some other location and everybody just worked to show ‘India shining’ Third, although company had a good leave policy but no carry forward or encashment of leaves, presumably to control the bottom line. Policy looked good on paper only. Fourth, leader of one of the functions responsible for creating org culture, was heard talking negative about team members in front of other employees on more than 1 occasion! So much for highlighting co. culture and values during the interviews Fifth, the company philosophy talks about ‘win as one’ but there is no ‘oneness’ at all between departments or entities. Each is working in their own lala land Sixth, ‘hybrid’ culture is highlighted in their benefits deck at the time of hiring to attract employees, but later you realize that it is upto the department leader and you can be asked to WFO all days of the week!!
