People stay a long time. Promotions often go to people that have been there a while and may or may not have any experience in the area they are promoted to manage. Remote roles going away mostly and hybrid schedule required.

Managers on high management go unchecked for performance

- Ingram Micro is pompous, annoying, and overrated- they act like they are some tech-savvy giant, yet the office is something out of an 1970's office themed movie, and you are lucky if you can find a working monitor within your first month of working there. - Pay is below average to terrible in the industry. Borderline insulting for certain positions. - If you are unable to attend unpaid work events that are after hours (even if you have 3 kids), you are made out to feel like you're not a part of the team. - Constant brown-nosing and kool-aid drinking is a MUST in order to stand any chance at getting promoted. Learn how to fake laugh at your managers and you will do well. - Highschool vibes. Very cliquey, and if you dont get in with the managers, you will stay in your current role- "HAHAHAH I love hearing that joke about how you were on a yacht in fiji, and made that 10mil sale on mouses and keyboards. You're such a good manager."

Management is solidified to their positions, there's no chance to enhance your career when you're inside. No sense of the multi-culture, only the top management has access to non-hungarians.

Basic salary is a little low for the amount of work to do

Horrible place to work, no training provided to staff yet they expect you to know how to do your job or figure it out. If you don't figure it out after a month you get written up. Former boss was not helpful and won't even listen to your complains or try and set up training for staff. They just expect you to figure it out or you get fired.

Cubicle farm, high school mentality among co workers, if you have worked here longer than 10-15 years it seems like the best place ever to work and if you are 22 with your first job you have no reference to anything better. No real room for growth. 3 steps up and they try to keep you in the position. They don't seem to look at past experience in reference to where they place you. NO sick time.

Salary is not that competitive.

Work life balance can be tough, especially in operations

Constant Change Hard to move up past level of Account Executive. Must become Sales Manager before Director and take a pay cut from Account Executive level. Little access to High level executives in California. Feels like two separate companies in Buffalo and CA. Low margin business means low pay

Incase you are in mobility sales, that too in west India than its time for you to change.

They downsize every 12 months and the direction of the company changes - people are so overwhelmed and overworked. They are owned by a Chinese company that has so much debt that financial institutions are scared off. Highly political, corporate office is disengaged. They pay hardly over minimum wage for many of their entry level sales and warehouse roles.

Low salary Top management makes continuous changes

Very strict with the written rules. 3 years of Ingram experience is essentially the same to 1 year of outside experience. Are not willing to pay you for a position unless you met their exact criteria, even if a vendor is telling them they will pull the offer.

Not much room to grow

Very cost sensitive, salaries are mediocre

Fast deployment of changes leaves the business behind.

Salary is not competitive or close to industry average. Moving beyond entry level positions to field based positions is very difficult if you are not part of the "boys club", usually under qualified external candidates are considered before promoting with in. Constant layoffs every year.

Cared way too much about an org that did not reciprocate at all.
