Engineer
Great oppertunities to get a lot of exposure to high volume medical device manufacturing processes - injection moulding right through to fully automated assembly and packing. A lot of experienced engineers and technicians are willing to share their knowledge and have helped me grow as an engineer. The management do not pigeon hole you into one area of focus allowing freedom to develop. Progression oppertunities are refularly available. Good graduate/work experience & apprenticeship programs in place.

Fun place. There are constant challenges that need to be met using the least amount of money everyday.
They only make investments based on ultra short payback periods. It seems that they do not really care too much about the hourly workers which troubles me.

Company culture is prime for self-starters, less focused on hierarchy and strict regimen. Work is fast paced and highly dynamic primarily focused on specific projects.
If you're someone who needs punch in / punch out 9-5 this May not be for you. While portions of the company may exist this way, the core is focused on individuals driving results by their own volition.

High turnover rate which results in low employee moral. This may stem from overworked employees who have had increased workloads and responsibilities due to a lack of an active or trained workforce. New employees are not immune. They suffer from low morale as they struggle learning new job duties and procedures
