The salary were a bit low

I work in Romania and HR team is disastrous. If you envy other companies doing fun stuff for their employees then Luxoft Romania is not (anymore) for you. Other locations (ex: Poland) are fine. What keeps people employed is the client portfolio Luxoft has, not Luxoft itself.

Awful management, average salaries, no flexibility

No transparency of how much they sell you for to other companies, no raises whatsoever, bad management

Regional politics, no good hike

A lot of layoffs of great workers, no pay rise in 3 years, people leaving, and teams becoming less and less skilled

You will get only pay; nothing else

They need to cut headcount. They don’t want to pay severance. So they fabricate. What to expect: ∙ Approved days off reclassified as “unauthorized absence” months later. Without telling you. ∙ Documents you submitted listed as “not submitted.” ∙ Policies cited in warnings that don’t match the actual facts. They don’t read their own rules. ∙ Weeks of complete isolation. No tasks. No meetings. No communication. Just silence. ∙ You do the work of multiple people. Zero client complaints. Then you’re the problem. How it works: They build a paper trail. Hope you panic and quit. Or sign something. If you don’t - they assume you won’t check the details. Check the details. Document everything. Their own paperwork may prove they’re lying. It’s not personal. It’s budget. But you pay the price.
