You get a free day every time a bank holiday falls on weekend days, either the day before or after the weekend.
Terrible, toxic environment and mentality from both the upper management and managers. The knowledge transfer is never well done and they cannot keep seniors so no one know how the processes run from start to finish. They expect you to be always available and answer within 2 minutes or less (even if your contract writes “8, flexible, hours with 15 minute lunch break”. Bad internal technical infrastructure so you can get to spend up to an hour a day just switching between vpns because if you need 3 steps to finish a project, chances are that each requires a different vpn. and of course tha manager constantly puts pressure.
Embedded software engineer
* Many many project with multiple different OEMs with different scopes and techniques. * Massive growth opportunities both in soft and technical skills. * Relatively easy to switch projects if you're unhappy or board. * Very project driven which will easy your life( for example if you need a Linux laptop you'll get it very easily)
* it's a dxc company so expect they will try very very hard to reduce spending (i.e. no yearly salary increase, delayed or no bonus, no gifts etc...) * every project is kinda a different company and if your progress or the performance you demonstrate in a previous project is automatically reseted in the new project. * no budget, if your request anything that requires money. More often than not the answer will be no budget. * salary is not always on time, you'll never get it after the month end but not always on the 28th. * the laptops we get are very impractical, slim laptops or laptops with unneeded graphic cards which doesn't help the compilation speed. * the site is still young and you can very clear feel the novice management, hr,payroll, it, etc * no internet package even though it's full remote

I worked in luxoft around 2.5 years without any increment. Whenever I asked to my line manager he said I m trying but dxc not allowing us to give. Dxc technology acquired luxoft but all operation handled separately. Dxc using this strategy to hire from luxoft once project get completed they will fire so no direct blem will come to dxc. Luxoft don't have much project once dxc de-allocate you from project luxoft will fire you they don't have bench policy. If you have any other option please do not join this company and west your time.
WFH is only gud this but agine you have to work without any appraisals.
