I loved working here because of the awesome benefits. Hotels discounts for friends and family was a huge factor as well as having a great office atmosphere
Sometimes there were managers who tended to micromanage
Decent pay and good benefits
Long hours and poor management
Place where to meet a lot of people with extraordinary ideas (guests and colleagues
Low salary Work-life balance to be improved
You get 14/hr starting off plus tips of being a bellman.
We don’t do valet so there’s a lot of money left on the table there. I am part-time so I also do not get any kind of benefits (holiday pay and hotel room discounts).
Remote work way ahead of the curve
Embarrassing pay and they time bathroom breaks
Great company to work for. Friendly coworkers, great food and clean hotel.
Wish pool was bigger, but still very nice.
Formed a bond with a colleague through shared frustrations with the leadership style of the Sales Director.
The Director of Sales and Marketing at the London Marriott Canary Wharf creates a very challenging work environment. Their leadership style often comes across as harsh, with a tendency to be intimidating and difficult, which can make it difficult for the team to feel supported or trust in the leadership. This has a noticeable impact on morale and the overall atmosphere within the department.
Raises every 6 months. Career growth is always available. They provide the best benefit package I’ve had with an employer.
Starting pay not enough to really make raises count. You would have to be there years and make your way up to director level to truly make a great salary.
You get discounts on certain hotel stays
Nothing. It’s horrible cleaning after people
