Way too large marketing organization with unclear role and responsibilities. Marketing doesn’t have a seat at the revenue table. Only there to please sales demand.

Motorola has lost sight in employee satisfaction. Quotas go up significantly each year making it extremely hard to achieve your goals. Sales is tied to Revenue which consist of 30% of my commission while Motorola cannot seem to ship our products to customers in a timely fashion resulting in less commission affecting my payout. Seems like Greg Brown and Jack Malloy are more interested in raising the stock price for shareholders while the employee pays the price for less payouts as the goals are unobtainable. For example, last year only a couple of the RVPs made their quotas but Motorola as a whole had record earning numbers.
