They provide a solid compensation package and relatively decent benefits. Started out with a great manager and got along with him famously for 2 years. We worked very well together and met all of our targets. Responsibilities and objectives were well defined and communicated. He was work-force-reduced and then everything went down hill from there.
You are expected to work very long hours. Management frequently reminds everyone that you must have a strong work ethic. There are frequent reorgs and teams are chronically understaffed which ties back to the very long hours. I've seen many engineers reach burnout due to the work demands.

I have been blown away by the willingness of all employees to assist with the onboarding process. The instruction, the dedication I have felt makes it the best work environment I have been part of.
Sometimes I don't want to bother the other team members because they have assigned tasks so I don't know when a good time to reach out to them is. Garry does an excellent job though sending out weekly emails to notify who is on projects.

It's fairly easy to get a job here, but it has to be through a staffing agency.
You get treated like a robot. If you pause to tie your shoe and your supervisor sees you, they ask why you're not working. That was it for me before I quit.
